Slottsskogen
Considered the main park of Gothenburg, Slottsskogen is the perfect place to relax and enjoy outdoor activities. The location encompasses both a planned park and natural forest and is surrounded by cafes, playgrounds and more. Gothenburg Botanical Garden
Known locally as the Botansika Tragarden, this garden is located in a previously rural area and was inaugurated in 1923. A total of 175 hectares includes an arboretum and a garden housing 16,000 species of plant life. It is considered one of Europe’s largest botanical gardens and has been voted the loveliest park in Sweden, as well as holds two stars in the Michelin Green Guide.
