Carl Linnaeus Garden
This park is the oldest botanical garden in Sweden and belongs to Uppsala University. It was originally planned in 1655 and maintains currently an 18th-century botanical garden style. The garden also includes exhibitions, a café and shop which are opened from May to September every year. Guided tour are offered in both English and Swedish on a daily basis. It is considered one of Uppsala’s most popular destinations for visitors.
Stadstragarden
This city garden is located in Uppsala city park, located on the river and is open year round. Visitors will enjoy a wide array of plant life throughout the year, as well as grassy areas for picnics and play. A playground is available, as is dance track, a café (summertime only), jetties that allow visitors to sunbathe or event fish and an open-air stage called The Parknackan that hosts events throughout the summer months.
