Visitors to Gothenburg should surely visit Haga, a charming area that includes traditional wood buildings and cobblestone streets as well as the 17th-century fortress “Skansen Kronan”. Arguably the most notable architectural marvel in the city is located at the Crown House (or Kronhusbodarna), the oldest nonecclesiastical in the town. Built in the 1650’s, it was previously the meeting location for the Swedish Parliament. Today it houses artisan studios, chocolate makers, goldsmiths, and glass blowers.
