Malmo – Museums

Malmo Museum

This museum offers a wide range of Nordic artefact and is located at Malmohusvagen in the heart of Malmo city, surrounded by canals. The oldest surviving Renaissance castle, a real submarine, aquarium and more are all on display at this museum. The permanent exhibitions focus on history, science, natural history, technology and seafaring content. While a museum today, the location actually became a temporary refugee camp in 1945 at the end of World War II as a place of refuge.
