Bror Hjorth’s House

A museum by the artist of Bror Hjorth includes a large collection of the artists works. It was the artists home for 25 years and became an official museum in 1978. Visitors will enjoy a colourful studio museum, complete with paintings, sculptures and more. Admission is free of charge and is home to temporary exhibitions as well as art classes, lectures and even the occasional concert.




Uppsala Art Museum

This art museum features weekly guided tours as well as curator’s screenings. It contains both Swedish and international contemporary art, ceramics and more, as well as an on-site museum shop and café. Admission to the museum is free; and is open daily during the summer while closing on Monday’s during the winter and spring periods from October to June.
